The QSFP+ module is designed to achieve 40GBASE Ethernet throughput of up to 10 km via single mode fiber (SMF) using 1310nm wavelength via MTP/MPO-12 connector. The transceiver is QSFP+ MSA compliant. According to the QSFP+ MSA, a digital diagnostic function can also be provided via the I2C interface to allow access to real-time operating parameters. With these features, this easy-to-install, hot-swappable transceiver is ideal for a variety of applications, such as data centers, high-performance computing networks, enterprise core and distributed layer applications.
Note: If you need to use the optical module to split one 40G signal into four 10G signals, the device interface must support the branching function.
